WINDHOEK – Three men accused of taking part in an armed robbery at Olumbo farm in the district of Windhoek were denied bail when they made their first appearance in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The accused are Matheus Mukoko(31), Stepanus Jantze (31) and Asley Eiseb (23).
The State alleges that on November 21 this year the men stole three pistols valued at N$200 000 in the lawful possession of Helmut Goldbeck. The three allegedly robbed Goldbeck by threatening him with a firearm.
The men were denied bail and the matter remanded to February 5 2014 for legal representation.
The State represented by Anthony Wilson objected to bail being granted to the three accused for fear they could abscond.
