Many times, I am confronted by the age-old question of whether there is really money in farming – and most importantly, whether one should quit a job to start farming.

Hikuama Kaputu, a part-time farmer in the Otjombinde area of the Omaheke region, shares a special relationship with the Simmentaler cattle breed.

As farming is an enterprise, just like any other, it is vital at this time of the year to look back and evaluate your steps during the course of the year.
