Baronice Hans will take the helm as managing director designate of Bank Windhoek with effect from February 1.
Hans is a chartered accountant by profession who graduated from the University of South Africa with an Honours Degree in Accounting Science. For the past six years, she was employed at Standard Bank Namibia where she held the position of executive director and head personal and Business Banking for the past four years.
Towards the end of 2015 Hans won the accolade of Namibian 2015 Businesswoman of the Year. Bank Windhoek says Hans brings a wealth of experience and an extensive career in banking. She has also served on a number of boards in diverse disciplines, such as telecommunications, power distribution, non-bank financial regulation, life assurance, asset management, as well as fishing and marine resources.
