ONGWEDIVA – A Bank Windhoek employee landed himself behind bars for allegedly defrauding clients over N$130 000.  

Johannes Shilongo Shikongo (25), an employee of the Bank Windhoek Ondangwa branch has since been granted bail by the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court. It is alleged that Shikongo who faces two counts of fraud committed the crimes between September and October last year by withdrawing money amounting to N$130 400 from the accounts of clients for his personal use. Shikongo is out on bail of N$10 000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for April 3, 2014.
