Bank Windhoek, as the principal sponsor of athletics in Namibia, has sponsored seven young athletes with a set of
sporting gear. The athletes are taking part in the second African Youth Championships, which got underway
in Mauritius yesterday. The young athletes each received a sports bag containing a variety of sporting gear. The
team accompanied by three officials left for the Indian Ocean island on Sunday under the stewardship of head coach,
Hennie Horn. The travelling entourage reads as follows: Siranda Horn (high jump), Sylvia Schulz (heptathlon),
Henryke Garbers (400 m and 400 m hurdles), Saara Martin (800 m, 1500 m and 3000m), Eunike Kanana (1500
m and 3000 m) and Nico Horn (javelin).
