Bank Windhoek’s board of directors’ chairperson Johan Swanepoel this week announced the appointment of Justina Alders-Sheya to the Bank Windhoek board. Her appointment is effective as of Monday, 12 February 2024.
In a statement released on behalf of the bank’s board, Swanepoel said Alders-Sheya is a highly-accomplished Namibian professional with an impressive background. “She has over 20 years of international experience in the financial services’ sector, particularly in banking, corporate finance and asset management,” he noted. Alders-Sheya has held key positions at institutions such as Triodos Bank Group in The Netherlands, and the EY and ING Group in Amsterdam. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, a Master of Science (MSc) degree, and is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
“We look forward to her valuable contributions and insights, as we continue to strive for excellence and innovation in serving our customers and stakeholders,” added Swanepoel.
