It’s that time of the year again when local beach volleyball followers can brace themselves for a fantastic day of non-stop adrenaline-pumping action, when the 3rd leg of the annual National Winter Classics Timeout Beach Volleyball Series gets underway in Windhoek on June 25.

The DTS Beach Arena, Olympia, Windhoek, will play host to the event. Action get underway at 08h00 in the morning with the finals at 18h00.

The event sees entrants competing in various categories such as 2-a-side Men, Ladies, Social, Youth Girls (U18), Youth Boys (U18) and 4-a-side Mixed Social, which requires one female player on court at all times.

Event organizers have expressed gratitude towards the event sponsors. “We are very excited to welcome Word Press Namibia as principal tourney sponsor, it being a staunch supporter of beach volleyball.

“In the same breath, we are also thankful for their support and look forward to working with them to make this event a success,” reads a statement from the tournament organizers.

Word Press Namibia is sponsoring the gathering with N$6 000 in prizes, to be divided up among all six categories.
