It’s divided into the Old Testament with 39 books and the New Testament with 27 books. Testament means covenant – refering to the covenant God made with mankind. To make research and reference easier, the books of the Bible were later divided into chapters and the chapters into verses.
The Bible can help us to see beyond the attractive bait to the painful hook in sinful temptations, so that we can learn from others’ mistakes, rather than making them ourselves. The Bible is not merely for reading, it is a book worth studying, so that its lessons can be applied.
The Bible can help us. Even if we know nothing about God, we will know a great deal about God after reading it.
The Bible is widely considered to be the most important book in the world. Simply because it’s God’s word, when we read the Bible, we read a message from God Himself, which can be incredibly useful in our daily lives.
It can teach us to read a life full of purpose and sense; a life that is pleasing to our Father in heaven; it teaches us the truth and the importance of faith. Let us study more about Bible to know more about our Father who is in heaven. Amen!
