WINDHOEK – Discarded Orlando Pirates forward Rudolf Bester has finally found a new home after the free-scoring speedy striker was offloaded by the South African Professional Soccer League (PSL) club before the start of the 2014/2015 season.

The Namibian was deemed surplus to requirements at the Soweto giants upon his return from his loan spell at relegated PSL outfit Golden Arrows.

Amazulu have reportedly shown interest in snapping up the player, but Bester opted to join fellow Premiership campaigners Free State Stars to be reunited with former Warriors mentor, Tom Saintfiet.

Namibia’s leading player agent, Collin April, told New Era Sports that there were lots of tempting offers from other top teams in the PSL, including a very lucrative one from Amazulu where there is a strong contingent of Namibian footballers.

According to April, the former Eleven Arrows target man chose to sign a two-and-half-year contract with Free State Stars.

Saintfiet is reportedly running an eye over Blue Waters’ speedy striker and incumbent MTC Premiership golden boot winner, Balack Somaeb, who is currently on trial with Free State Stars in South Africa.

Meanwhile, out of contract African Stars nimble-footed midfielder, McBride Ndjavera, is currently training with PSL side Bidvest Wits University with the view to land a professional contract and those close to the midfielder say the highly gifted youngster has so far impressed the Clever Boys’ technical staff and could be lost to domestic football very soon.
