WINDHOEK– The Bank Windhoek BizzKids top ten finalists for 2013 are finally out.
Seventeen learners will be in action in this final phase of the competition at the Bank Windhoek Kidz Fun Fair and Family Expo on November 1-2. “It seems as if the quality of applications increases each year. This obviously makes the work of the judges harder but at the same time it is a delight to see the innovative and creative ideas of these kids”, says Marlize Horn, Executive Officer: Marketing and Corporate Communication Services at Bank Windhoek.
The finalist are, Anne-leen Thorburn (7) and Minette Hough(9) trading as “Minie-Leen” from St Paul’s College; Keanu da Silva (13) and Keyat da Silva (11) trading as “Team D” from Eldorado Secondary School and M H Greeff Primary School respectively; Lia Jansen (7) trade as “Lia se Goeterjasie” from Windhoek Gymnasium Pre-Primary; Melany Erasmus (14) and Bianca Erasmus (12) trading as “Tiny Bubbles” from Berg-op Akademie, Okahanja; Jana Hein (11) and Tiaan Hein (9), trading as “Ja-Ti Crafts” from Holy Cross Convent; Nikita-Mari Puren (14) trading as “Cupcake Run” from Edugate Academy, Otjiwarongo; Maryke van der Merwe (14), SD van der Merwe(12) and Nina Mart van der Merwe (11) trading as “four the love of Art” from Windhoek High School; Conradt Blaauw (15) trading as “The Candy Floss Factory” from Edugate Academy, Otjiwarongo and Juan Brenkman (7) trading as “Something sweet” from Okahandja Primary School.
The Bank Windhoek Kidz Fun Fair and Family Expo will take place on November 1-2 at the SKW Sports Grounds in Olympia.
