LUDERITZ – All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, Namibia’s ruling political party, the Swapo Party District Office in Luderitz held a successful fun day at the Luderitz Sport Complex, last Saturday.

Several football clubs from as far as Keetmanshoop and local teams converged in the southern harbour town to battle it out for supremacy that saw Tseiblaagte outfit Real Fighters, lock horns with fellow lower division campaigners Atlanta Bucks, but the latter proved too strong for the visitors, emerging 4-1 victors in a one-sided encounter.

Johannes Valombola, a member of the Organising Committee, said the ultimate aim of the fun-day was to provide a platform for people to socialise and have a fun filled day together.
