One thing I’ve picked up recently is that there’s not much difference between the school and a workplace setting. Maturity cannot even draw a line between the two in terms of behavioural development among most individuals in the two settings. 

 To glow, you must grow. Growth is an important aspect in life, for it is through growth that one sees the impact they project out, either positive or negative, which alters their glow. 

This a very powerful statement our forefathers, uncles, brothers and all father figures that we have and had in our lives use as a metaphor to encourage us, men, to be strong and more rational than emotional. 

Violence against women and girls (VAWGs), also known as gender-based violence (GBV), is any harmful act that is perpetrated primarily against women.

It is often stated that honesty is the best policy, and recently Nico Sibolile exercised that as he returned a customer’s N$8 000 that was forgotten in his taxi. 

With the just-ended Swapo elective congress, we learned that politics is not about glorifying personalities at the expense of principles. Personalities may serve their interest, and are not more important than the principles and the unifying values which bring people together. 

As a user of public transport, I often have the chance to engage with taxi drivers on the way to my destination. On one of my recent trips, I had the rare chance to hear a taxi driver speak candidly about his life as a driver in the public transport sector.

The technology of drones has advanced in just a few short years, making them more readily accessible and available to the average citizen. In developed countries, drones provide police and other law- enforcement departments with superior awareness and enhanced operational responses.

As the Namibian school calendar winds up and we write our final examinations, many schools have experienced the worst behavioural revolts. 

Our country needs to build a modern land administration system which will secure individual property ownership, with a well-managed communal tenure system which governs natural resources and land.
