LUHONONO – Residents in the floodplains of Zambezi region such as Luhonono, formerly known as Schuckmannsburg, are cut off from the mainland via the Namalubi-Luhonono road by the swelling Zambezi River.  

OMUTHIYA  – A six-year-old boy from Chamu-Chamu village, Oshikoto, who suffers from a brain condition is urgently in need of leg braces and foot orthoses, as he is unable to walk. 

NKURENKURU – Forking out extravagant sums of money to hire tents to host the Nkurenkuru Expo will now be a thing of the past. This is in light of the decision by the Nkurenkuru town council to construct a N$3 million hall at its expo site.

RUNDU – The Nkurenkuru Town Council and the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) this week signed a joint venture land servicing agreement that will see 337 erven serviced at the Kavango West town. 

NKURENKURU – Professor David Namwandi the founder of Namibia’s largest privately-owned institution of higher learning, the International University of Management (IUM), on Tuesday officiated at the opening of its 2020 academic year at Nkurenkuru campus in Kavango West.
