A 33-year-old lower primary school teacher from the Supo Junior Primary School in the Bunya circuit of Kavango West was arrested on Saturday after she was reported for allegedly practising corporal punishment at the school.

 An application in which an alleged rival faction in Swanu wanted to derail a case brought against them by the current leadership failed in the High Court yesterday. 

 Windhoek High Court Judge Dinnah Usiku this week ruled an identity parade held in Swakopmund that identified Panduleni Gotlieb (34) and David Shekudja (39) as two of the men who broke into the residence of Walvis Bay businessman Hans- Jörg Möller inadmissible.
