NKURENKURU - Namibia’s giant telecommunications service provider Telecom Namibia officially opened a Teleshop in Nkurenkuru and launched its services in various parts of Kavango West Region.

WINDHOEK  - This weekend marks one of two major Christian holidays on the Christian calendar - Easter- a holiday where devout Christians remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

WINDHOEK – The Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, has cautioned drivers, who will be heading to various destinations for the Easter long weekend, to slow down, stick to the speed limit and take regular breaks to ensure that they stay safe on the roads.

WINDHOEK – Namibia is said to have the highest road accident rates in Africa and is ranked 45th on road deaths in the world, which makes the risk of driving very high in this country. 

SWAKOPMUND -  Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources Bernhard Esau says the government is keen to ensure that at least 340 000 metric tons (MT) of 550 000 MT fish landings is processed  on shore and exported as high valued products to markets worldwide by 2022.
