WINDHOEK – This year  opened with the annual inflation rate at 4.7 percent, which was a 1.1 percentage point higher than the 3.6 percent registered in January 2018. However, this is still lower than 5.1 percent in December 2018 and 5.6 percent in November 2018.

WINDHOEK – The Construction Industries Federation of Namibia (CIF) is optimistic that lawmakers will focus on ensuring better opportunities for the Namibian construction sector and will explicitly address the extent of foreign involvement in the industry, which the federation says is currently to the detriment of Namibian contractors.
