Musekiwa has already served his punishment – Kauta

WINDHOEK – For the first time since the identity theft saga between demoted Gobabis outfit Young African FC, the Namibia Premier League (NPL) and Zimbabwean import Tapiwa Simon Musekiwa started, it only came yesterday to the public’s attention that Musekiwa – who falsified his identity documents in order to play for African last season – has already served his 7-match ban for the crime committed.

Jaguar adds Chequered Flag special edition to XF range

Jaguar has revealed new Chequered Flag special edition as part of the latest model year updates to the XF Sedan. Jaguar Namibia yesterday confirmed that due to limited stock of the special edition any orders will have to be built from the ground up to conform to a customer’s exact specifications. This means that a vehicle ordered today will be delivered in about July this year. Jaguar’s XF range retails from between N$880 000 to N$1.6 million depending on the specifications, details and trimmings of the vehicle.

Outstanding Roads Authority millions needed for maintenance and new roads

WINDHOEK – The Roads Authority (RA) yesterday said that more than N$250 million owed to Namibia Traffic Information System (NaTIS) does not have a direct impact on its operations but that all the collected outstanding fees will be channelled towards maintaining the country’s road network and the construction of new roads. This funding will be done via the Road Fund Administration, which falls under the Ministry of Finance.
