Namibia has finally reached 50/50 gender equality in the National Assembly, thanks to the various political parties implementing 50/50 gender equality in their leadership structures.

Popular Democratic Movement member of parliament Hidipo Hamata has urged the government to regulate private schools and vocational training centres to ensure fairness and equality for all students and teachers.

The Hambukushu Traditional Authority has questioned why the Prime Minister’s Office, the Urban and Rural Development Ministry, and the Zambezi governor turned a blind eye to the fact that it has jurisdiction over the area where they are planning to designate the Khwe Traditional Authority.
