A stock assessment carried out by the fisheries ministry over the past year has yielded mixed results as some fish stocks show growth while others are still in a precarious state.

The chairperson of the Confederation of Namibian Fishing Associations Matti Amukwa has questioned the Environmental Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report that was submitted last week by Namibia Marine Phosphate to the environmental commissioner, saying it is dubious.
