WINDHOEK – Namibia Premiership principal sponsor MTC applauded newly promoted Citizen Football Club for their promotion into the MTC Premier League for the 2014/2015 campaign.

“You made it into the big league, and henceforth from here, competition will be tougher. However, with vision, vigour and proper planning as you have shown during your campaign over the last few months. I am sure you will be able to stand your ground and show your mettle,” reads a statement from MTC’s Joseph Mundjindi.

He also implored league authorities to bring the leagues of the North East and North West division up to speed, saying the late conclusion of league campaigns can cause delays with implications for all league planning for next season.
