WINDHOEK – Two Congolese nationals who claimed they are Namibians and their language as Swahili appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on a charge of dealing in cocaine.
Mandefu Bonaventure, 35, and Henry Kittange,26, were not asked to plead. It is alleged by the State the two were caught with three 1-gram bags of cocaine in Mahatma Gandhi Street on 11 July.
They are represented by Milton Engelbrecht and were granted bail of N$3 000 each.
Public Prosecutor Nasilele Siyambango requested a remand to 4 September for further investigation and Magistrate John Sindano granted the postponement.
