WINDHOEK– Zenzo Lounge Bar and Restaurant is inviting all the Namibian fashion designers and fashion lovers to showcases their talents, collections and garments at the Fashion and Art Flea Market taking place at Zenzo Lounge Bar and Restaurant for the first time ever in Namibia tomorrow.
Leena Shindondola, one of the organisers of the Fashion and Art Flea Market, says this innovation will give Namibian fashion designers the opportunity and platform to sell and show their talents locally as a whole, and eventually grow. “We are thus introducing a shop-off the rump style, models on the catwalks and the runway shopping for the first time in Namibia. However, this Fashion and Art Flea Market will be taking place every first Saturday of the month,” she says.
Leena adds that for now they have up to five designers who already registered for the market such as Maggy Sakeus, Bevery Kaposios, Maila Minkey and Suoma Nuunyango. “Those designers who want to sell or show their product can still register until Saturday morning for N$ 50 only,” she says.
