WINDHOEK– Not even the cold or icy breezy could keep away the female patrons from drooling over South African artist Donald at the recent Hart Van Windhoek show in the capital.
One lucky girl who identified herself as Monique, was over the moon and completely tongue tied when the handsome singer, who is most famous for his single, Over the Moon, invited her on stage.
On his knees he sang to her, Can I make you the one, and came just inches close to kissing her while they stared into each other’s eyes. This picture clearly was the envy of many girls in the crowd who tried to jump the fence to just touch his feet, and not without cause, he has a voice of gold indeed.
And, boy can he perform on stage! Not only did he charm the night but voices grew fainter and huskier as the female population in the audience screamed his name the entire time. And just as the night pick up its pace, Bittereinders with their Zebra heads and overwhelming techno sounds made it to the stage and the crowd believed they were in the presence of the illuminati.
When the band kicked off their Afrikaans rap on the stage in complete darkness, a heavy silence befell the crowd who grew a bit uncomfortable but this was soon forgotten when everyone realised that it was just an innocent Afrikaans rap group. And before long the Bittereinders just as their name would dictate went into higher gear keeping the crowd on their toes seemingly in an indescribable high on just good music.
