Former DTA vice president Philemon Moongo has passed away this evening in a Windhoek hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was 71. Moongo, who is also the headman of Omaalala village in the Oshana Region, joined the National Assembly in 1994 and was still an MP at the time of his death.
