WINDHOEK-The Elombe Art Academy (EAA) is calling for girls in the Northern part of the country interested to partake in Miss Elombe 2014 to be hosted at HP Lounge in the village of Elombe, Ondangwa at the end of the year.
The registration is on now and beauties are advised to visit the Elombe Lyetu Facebook fan page for more information on how to register or email their names and contacts details to phidishange@gmail.com, before August 23. Entry fees is N$ 40. According to the owner of EAA, Erastus Hidishange, the annual Miss Elombe beauty pageant aims to fetch different art talents among young villager’s and helps them to achieve their dreams in modelling. “Basically, we seek to get more talents that can contribute to the Elombe documentary that we are busy with,” says Erastus.
He says girls from the Northern part of the country between the ages of 16 to 24 and who have never given birth are all welcome to participate. Hidishange adds that AEE is a non-profit organisation consisting of all non-employed youths; therefore, they are also looking for sponsors to make the event happen.
