Fourty eight riders braved the bitter cold, whilst taking part in the fourth round of the Bank Windhoek Namibia National Enduro Series on Saturday, 7 June, in Uis.

.The race got off to a shaky start, with most of the riders getting lost on the first lap due to a number of reasons. The race was stopped and set off again at 12h30, with  the National classes completing three laps,  and the rest two laps.  The race event was ended in a good mood with no major injuries.

The National Bikes Class had six entries, with Jörn Greiter streaking to the finish minutes head of team mates Kai-Uwe Brettschneider and Glen Brown who finished in second and third place respectively.

The Open Bike Class 2 saw nine entries take part, with  Henner Rusch on his KTM clinched first position by two minutes extending his championship points lead to 19 points.  Ingo Waldschmidt on his KTM finished ahead of Tommy Gous on his Yamaha finished in third.

Clinton Hilfiker rode consistently to first place in the quad bike Category.  Julia Moths on her Yamaha returned to her winning form in the National Ladies Quad, Category, and Kai Hohmeier won the Senior Class.

With four races successfully completed in the 2014 National Series, the competition is heating up with the next race scheduled on 12 July 2014 on Farm Abbabis in the Karibib District.
