EENHANA – Young Kasi Entertainment group signed under Ames Investments cc here in the north is inviting all young ladies who are interested in taking part in this year’s beauty pageant, Miss Young Kasi 2013 to register soon as entries close on the 15th November.

The organizer of the event, Da Silva who is a kwaito musician also said the Miss Young Kasi 2013 will be the first of its kind to happen in Ondangwa.

“The beauty pageant event is penciled for 20th December and as a young and popular dancing kwaito group here, we are proud that it will be the first of its kind to ever happen in Ondangwa hence our extended invitation to all young beautiful ladies in the northern regions to enter for the competition,” he said

Da Silva explained to New Era Art Life that the event will see a stiffer competition and all ladies between 16 and 25 years old should not miss the opportunity to take part in the first ever 2013’s year crown and there will be a cash first prize of N $ 5 000, N $ 3 500 and N $ 2 500 for the Miss Young Kasi 2013, first princess and second princess respectively.

Finalists will be chosen by end of November at Ondangwa Airport Lodge and the big event is scheduled for 20th December at Ondangwa Community Hall.

“The main aim of Miss Young Kasi is to give an opportunity and platform to ladies in the surrounding villages that can’t make it to town and city where events like this usually take place.  We are promising this event to be the best since we had these plans when we started our music career in 2011.  We are promising full surprises for the northern people,” urged Da Silva

Young Kasi is a young dancing kwaito group consisting of 10 young and youthful dancers which is based in Oshana region and has performed in many functions in the north including government functions, weddings, World Music Day in Oshakati, Miss Haimbili Haufiku Senior Secondary school, Kapuka Tournament in Ohangwena region, Eenhana Trade and Business Expo 2012 and 2013, Miss High School north, the recently UNAM cultural festival at Hifikepunye Pohamba campus among other events here in the north.

They have released their two single videos which are currently being broadcast on NBC’s TV station on WhataGwan show and other musical progammes.

The two video singles which made them to be famous on NBC TV are “Come over Baby” and “Hou vas” which were composed in English and Afrikaans.

Entries forms are available at Ondangwa Airport Lodge, D Nangolo Enterprises and Mandux Printing shop in Ondangwa and will also be available at New Era Publications offices in Ongwediva and NBC’s Oshakati studios by next week.

Da Silva also highlighted to New Era Art Life that some T-shirts, Caps and Umbrellas will be available before and at the event and as they are being printed in South Africa.

“All the Miss Young Kasi regalia is being printed in Msanzi, (South Africa) and we hope to get them delivered before the event and want to assure all residents especially those outgoing revellers in the north that they will buy them at a an affordable and cheap price,” Da Silva explained

Da Silva also explained that the three finalists, Miss Young Kasi 2013 and her first and second princess will all be featured in a music video which shall be shot in early January 2014.

The event is sponsored by Ames Investments cc, Ondangwa Town Council, Da Silva Events Organization and Entertainment Company, Low-cut Fashion and Design all based in Ondangwa.

Tickets will be going for N $ 20 for adults, N $ 15 for kids and for VIP they will be fetching for N $ 35 and there will be tight security and no rain fears.
