WINDHOEK-Afro Jazz Namibian award-winning artist, Erna Chimu is live tonight at the National Theatre of Namibia (NTN) Courtyard.
This is in celebration of the NTN 25 anniversary which since the beginning of this month has seen Namibia’s visual and performing arts Mecca comes to life with various activities. Erna, who have since the release of her first album, Hai-serute, been riding the musical roost in the country, will be performing some of her old and new songs live including the hit song, Hai-serute, a traditional song from her album bringing out the beauty of chants and traditional dance moves. Entrance fee for the show is N$80 and the doors open at eight O’clock (20h00).
The entertainment extravaganza as part of the NTN birthday continues the next day with a Kapana Soul Session, an evening with Old School Music from the late 1980s and the 1990s and the early 2000s. The event will be hosted at the Courtyard with an entrance fee of N$50.
