The stars brave the night’s stars tonight at the Goethe Institut as an all-female vocal group, Essence, take to the stage for a melodious performance with an earthy groove.
Established in 2013 as one of Namibia’s most versatile and vibrant groups that hop from jazz, soul and RnB to pop with an African soul, Esme, Avo, Romancia, Shevon and Johné present a magical vocal performance set to light a spirit. They promise a blend of traditional African rhythm and contemporary music expressions backed by Piu on the drums, Kallie on the keyboards, lead guitarist Sam and Tayo playing bass guitar. The concert kicks off at 19h00 and entrance is N$20.
