WINDHOEK

Two agricultural organisations, Livestock Producers Organisation (LPO) and the Namibia Agricultural Union ( NAU) will this week hold their annual congresses.

The LPO congress, to be held today, will discuss the deteriorating grazing conditions countrywide, meat industry structures and the improvement of Government veterinary services.

Dr Johann Zietsman, from Zimbabwe, will make a presentation on rangeland management.

The NAU congress starts tomorrow after the LPO meeting and runs until Thursday.

The NAU congress, which will be held under the theme “Judge Agriculture to its Value”, brings together all unions affiliated to NAU and will be addressed by an agricultural economist from Nairobi, Kenya, Dr Karl Rich.

Yesterday, Bank Windhoek gave the union N$43???_?_’???_?’???_???
