By Frederick Philander WINDHOEK KATUTURA musician Gustav Gustav has just brought out his first CD of cultural oriented music for all ages and indications are that it is bound to do well. The CD, titled Concrete Jungle, of which 10 000 copies were printed in Jo-hannesburg, is now available at record outlets such as Universal Records. “It was a personal venture in which I invested a lot of money, energy and creativity for a long time,” Gustav Gustav, who has been attended a curriculum workshop of Oruuano Artists Union this week in Okahandja, said. Gustav started his music career in 1995 at Kayec, after which he joined several local bands such as the Bravo Band and 4×4 band. “I broke away from 4 x 4 Band to pursue my lifelong dream becoming a solo artist. I think I am on the right track in the very competi- tive music world of Namibia. “I hope to do live shows and promote my CD with my own band during next year,” the young musician said.
