The National Art Gallery of Namibia (NAGN) held its Annual General Meeting on 26th January 2006, it was announced in a press statement. The meeting re-elected Dr Peingeondjabi T. Shipoh as the Chairperson of the NAGN Board of Trustees. He would be deputised by Mr Naftalie /Uirab. The meeting also announced the appointment of Mr Ervast Mtota as the new Trustee to the Board. The friends of the gallery, Mr and Mrs Van Graan and Mr and Mrs Eins, were awarded with Honorary Certificates for their loyal support to the gallery for more than 25 years at the AGM. A Corporate Plate was also unveiled by the Chairperson to show appreciation to corporate companies that are supporting the gallery.
