By William J. Mbangula Oshakati Human remains were uncovered at Mulunga village in Ompundja constituency yesterday. One of the police investigators at the scene Constable Herman Haraeb told New Era that the remains could date back to the colonial era since they look very old. He said the police suspect that foul play could have been involved since it appears two people were buried in two separate graves about 14 metres from one another on the bank of the river. Villagers at the scene could not recall having lost any of their relatives who could possibly be the ones uncovered. Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man is in critical condition in Oshakati Hospital after his makeshift house at Oshoopala location was hit by a speeding car. He has been identified as Rudolf Kayumbu from Onuumba village in Omusati Region. He was employed by Falcon Security company in Oshakati. According to his relative Tigna Sheehamandje, a speeding BMW with registration number N10945W was coming from Okatana and driving to Oshakati when the driver lost control and hit the shelter. Kayumbu was alone in the house. Sheehamandje told New Era that the driver, a certain Celesius Iipinge Evaristus Atshipara from Amutanga village in Okatana constituency, has admitted guilt. He has already replaced the corrugated iron sheets and the poles which were destroyed in the accident.
