The Road Fund Administration (RFA) has appointed Ali Ipinge as its new chief executive officer with effect from November 1, 2014.
RFA has not had a substantive chief executive officer since 2011, and now after a three-year recruitment process, Ipinge has been selected as the man for the job.
The Minister of Finance, Cabinet and the State-Owned Enterprises Governance Council have endorsed his appointment.
Prior to joining the RFA, Ipinge worked at FNB Bank as Head of SME for over eight years and Standard Bank Namibia as Head of Business Banking for eight months. He brings a wealth of banking experience to the transport sector, as he now must deal with the funding of roads in Namibia.
Ipinge has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Namibia and a Masters in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
