“We are pleased to announce that Namibia’s singing sensation, Jossie Kauandenge, has signed a recording and promotional contract with a South-African company Galloway Records,” said Gerson Heinz, the manager of Sunshine Music Productions in a statement.

According to him, Galloway Records will from now on be responsible for marketing his music to the wider international community.

“This contract, entered into between Jossie and the record company, will be valid for a period of one year after which both parties will reconsider it,” he said.

Jossie was nominated in the Best Oviritje category last year in the Nbc/Sanlam music competition after only a year in the music industry.

“During the past two years he has performed to various live audiences across the country. The highlight was this year when he was requested to perform in May in France during the festivities that marked former President Chirac’s departure from the presidency. He performed as part of a Southern African music group,” said Heinz.

Currently, Jossie has released a sizzling hot single simply titled, “Friday Afternoon”, and this song can be heard on many public and private radio stations. Jossie will perform in Oshakati this weekend.

He has also been nominated in two different categories in the Oviritje Music Awards to be hosted at the Safari hotel.
