WINDHOEK-Multitudes of youth were spoiled over the weekend at the gleaming sixth annual Bank Windhoek Kidz Fun Fair and Family Expo at the Doc Jubber Hockey Fields in Olympia on Friday and Saturday.
Both kids and parents were given a chance to engage in a varieties of excitements in all the areas of the Kidz Fun Fair, from exhibitions, sports, catering, running, jumping, hula hoop and cricket games. Art loving children were taught how to make their own ceramic works at the Bank Windhoek Kidz Arts Zone by members of the Potters Association of Namibia (PAN). Baking lessons for children were provided by BakPro Namibia, which was definitely one of the highlights. Other activities included theatre production performances, modelling competitions and dancing performances on the Checkers Entertainment stage.
“We are pleased with the outcome of the event even though the weather conditions were extremely difficult this year. From the feedback we received, the visitors enjoyed a great expo with a large variety of activities and goods to choose from, which is through all the effort from over 100 exhibitors and sponsors,” says Gabriela Raith, the founder and organiser of the Expo from Limelight Marketing & Events.
