KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has started offering special fares on return flights for when it starts flying to Windhoek on October 31.
The special return fares include N$9 000 to Amsterdam, N$9 900 to London, N$7 000 to Frankfurt, N$6 900 to Stuttgart and N$13 200 to New York.

The special fares are on sale until September 23 for travel between the October 31 and December 14, as well as for travel from January 6 until April 30, 2017. KLM will operate three weekly flights between Windhoek and Amsterdam. The flights include a brief stopover in Luanda during which passengers will stay on the aircraft. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is KLM’s hub and has been described as the beating heart of the KLM’s worldwide network.

The airline closely cooperates with Air France, Kenya Airways and the SkyTeam airlines, offering a massive global network with unique destinations worldwide.

KLM says it is constantly searching to extend its international network and has recognised attractive opportunities in Namibia to further develop the passenger air traffic by bringing in more tourists to the country, not only from Amsterdam but from the 179 countries it serves with its global partners.

The economic sector is also expected to benefit from KLM flights by connecting Namibia with the Netherlands and the rest of the world. This is anticipated to facilitate economic trade and development by offering European and intercontinental connections for passengers and cargo.

KLM is the oldest airline still operating under its original name and was founded on in October 1919. From its inception, KLM has been a pioneer in the aviation industry and continues to be so today; whether it is flights operating on biofuel or 24/7 customer service via social media, such as Facebook.

KLM says its focus remains on the passengers, in the air and on the ground.
