Home Time Out Last knockout stage in choir competition

WINDHOEK– The last and fourth knockout stage in the Joyful Sound Choir Competition takes place on November 2 when  Adoration, Mission Work for Jesus Christ Choir and the Bella Roge are competing against one another.

The winner will face

The winner of the third knock-out stage is BK’s, who in last Sunday’s third knockout  stage replaced the Mission Work Youth Choir that at the last minute had to withdraw from the competition at the National Theater Namibia (NTN). The Okhandja Choir in their beautiful African attire of  black pants and black skirts who took the people by the storm thus coveting the second place.

In the place was the Pentecostal Protestant Church (PPC) Hakahana Choir who could not but gain the third place despite showing their determination to win by putting up an  inspirational drama about baby dumping which everyone found educative, and by singing beautifully in  strong projecting voices. Their last song This kind God, never seen of God’’ saw the judges unconsciously clapping because of the Nigerian dance they put up.

The BK’s group is hence joining  winner of the first knockout stage, Poly Choir, which was held on and the winner of the second knockout stage which was on Sunday November 5, Soli Deo Gloria, for the semi finals on November 9 and 16. To them will be added two choirs from among losers in the four knockout stages as wild card groups. Three groups would then advance to the grand finale on November 21.
