Dear Dr Earth Angel Ndume
Warm greetings from me
It took me a week to get hold of you but finally I managed to hear your sweet voice this morning.
As I’m writing this letter of appreciation for your good miracle work, tears are running like the blood of the Cassinga massacre in Lubango over my cheeks. I happen to stumble upon your work on Facebook where hundreds of elderly people, particularly women, were singing their joy of what you have done to them in the Ohangwena region.
It’s indeed worthy to thank you for the wonderful work you are doing to the Namibian people, particularly the helpless, vulnerable elderly citizens of this nation. We have so many doctors in this country but many of them put money above all. You have demonstrated your love and wisdom to the Namibian people.
Your name is now amongst other names in the world as the best selfless doctor because you have given many people hope by returning their sight. You gave many families hope to live after many gave up on a normal life.
You are such an amazing earth angel. God bless you Dr Ndume.
I’m a young leader in Okahandja, with an ambition of doing more for the residents of my town. I have sleepless nights always thinking about the best I can do for my people. Our hospitals around the country are in a mess and in dilapidated conditions.
The Okahandja hospital has been operating without a mortuary since January this year. I must be honest with you, you gave me hope, courage and spirit that everything is possible.
Amongst the 200+ people you operated on last week alone, four are my family members. I can’t believe until now that one day my granny will see the light again after many years. You are the best of the best.
Dr Earth Angel Ndume, I wish you could live for 189 years. Hence for now, please pass these skills to the young ones so that we can have 189 Dr Ndume eye specialists.
I have a dream now that I will make sure I put it to work. My dream is to have Dr Ndume Eye Specialist Hospital/School in Okahandja.
I will make sure this dream come to its realisation as well as Dr Ndume street, as a token of appreciation for your dedication towards our people.
I’m happy for you. The nation is happy for you and I believe God is happy for you too.
I’m looking forward to meeting you in person and sharing my dream in detail for the betterment of this nation.
You won yourself the best prize of the best citizen of our land.
Once again, you are the best of the best. God bless you!
