The Theatre and Poetry Integrated (TAPI) organization is holding auditions to scout for suitable actors/actresses for their new play.

Hendrix Macaba wrote the play entitled “Violence is within our community”.

The auditions started last Friday and end this coming Friday at the Katutura Community Arts Centre.

The aim of the play is to raise money for the organisation to produce more plays as a way of combating crime in the country.

Up to 30 people from seven years and above are needed for the play, which will be staged around October 15. Prospective actors and actresses must bring N$10 for the application form.

Macaba is also the chairman of Say a Word, an organization that gives an opportunity to vulnerable people in communities to voice their concerns and promote society’s well-being.
