Ricky Viera, the coach of ACFA’s U/17 team, praised his players after their strong performance.
He said “Today’s win is a result of the hard work and determination of our boys. SKW is a tough team, but we showed resilience, and wanted the win. We’ll keep working hard to get even better, and grow as a team”.
Simon Ziga, a midfielder for SKW, spoke about his team’s loss in the U/13 final, admitting that they did not start the game well.
“We were slow out of the blocks, and got caught off-guard by an early goal. We didn’t come into the game with the right mindset, and that hurt us. But SKW is a strong club, and we know we’ll come back stronger next time,” he stated.
The Champion Super Four tournament was a great success, with thrilling matches and a strong sense of sportsmanship from all teams involved.
