SWAKOPMUND – The MTC Coastal Corporate Golf Day at the Swakopmund Rossmund Golf Course last weekend was a resounding success, according to MTC Chief Human Capital and Corporate Affairs Officer, Tim Ekandjo.
The corporate golf day is an initiative born from the MTC Key Accounts Department – a department solely responsible for catering to the service needs of MTC’s high value clients and national corporates, which at current status numbers nearly 5 000 on its books.
It aims to foster business relations with MTC, whilst at the same time utilizing the platform as a means for feedback and business interaction with clients.
Ekandjo emphasized that through activities such as the coastal corporate golf days, MTC places emphasis on interacting with its clients whilst engaging in conversations over the pitfalls of its customer relationship management strategy.
“In a nutshell, we can only describe these interactions as a means by which we hear our customer’s concerns firsthand – whilst aiming to improve on our service delivery. Whatever feedback we receive from our customers, we take it seriously and adopt it into our customer relationship strategy and what a way to hear how our customer feels about our service during a good round of golf in a pristine environment such as the Rossmund golf course.”
Twenty teams attended the MTC Coastal Corporate Golf Day, with the winning spoils going to Intumba Trading, Swakopmund Municipality and Nampol Henties Bay teams who came in at a joint first all tied on 89 points.
