The victim was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital – and the suspect is in police custody.

The other two murders occurred on Sunday.

The first occurred in Groot-Aub around 1 a.m.

It is alleged the victim and suspect were quarrelling over money when the suspect, a 17-year-old Namibian male, stabbed Mcancy Shivute (21).

The suspect was arrested.

Furthermore, the other occurred in Mondesa in Swakopmund, where three male suspects are in custody after allegedly stabbing and killing 23-year-old Angolo John Matokolo with an unknown object.

Although murder occurrences dominated the report, reckless driving, followed by armed robbery and housebreaking with the intent, followed closely.

In a separate incident that occurred in Onkumbula village in Okankolo constituency, Oshikoto region, a 14-year-old male allegedly raped an 11-year-old victim.
