Namib Mills today confirmed another basic food price increase that will come into effect on February 29.

The increase is mainly due to the weak exchange rate between the Namibian dollar and the US dollar, coupled with the prevailing drought in the region, the company said. The prices of basic foods already increased this year on January 25.
