WINDHOEK – The Namibian Bowls Association (NBA) will dispatch two ‘development’ teams to the upcoming 2-day International Triples Tournament in Botswana, slated for Saturday in Francistown.

According to Lesley Vermeulen of the NBA, the two teams will have one experienced player who will take over the part of skip, while the rest of the team comprises two inexperienced members. The ultimate aim is to expose inexperienced players to international competition.

 

The line up for the two Namibian teams is as follows:

 

Team 1

Otto Krahenbuhl (Eros – skip) Rinette de Kock (TransNamib) and Amanda Steenkamp (Eros)

 

Team 2

Dave Gibbons (Rossmund – skip) Steven Peak (Namib Park) and Anjuleen Viljoen (TransNamib)
