WINDHOEK – Namibia’s Paralympic swimmer Gideon Nasilowski will tomorrow depart for Johannesburg, South Africa to take part in the upcoming Central Gauteng Aquatics (CGA) Championships, starting this Thursday.

He will compete in the S3 Classification – 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke and 150m individual medley. Then directly after the CGA champs, Nasilowski will head for Durban to take part in the Kwazulu-Natal Aquatics (KZN) Championships, which starts on December 10 -15 and will compete in the same categories.

Both the CGA and KZN champtionships are recognized as international championships. As the 2013 number one ranked S3 swimmer in Africa, Nasilowski is aiming to improve his personal records and also break some African records in the process.
