WINDHOEK– Michael G. Eixab, aka  Nasti but who have since become Michael G, is well-known for his appearance on The Dogg’s hit song of 2006, Baby Don’t Go.

With his revamped name from Nasti to Micahel G,  and image, he is back in the music scene with new hit single. The Soul and RnB artist has quite a few songs that are currently playing on different radio stations, like Miracle and Special  Song, getting most air play. According to Fidel O’del Nambundunga, his agent, Michael G has been in the entertainment business since 1998 and made a name for himself as one of the very few well-spoken live performers in the country. He composed, arranged, and produced materials for some of Namibia’s artist like The Dogg, Vocal Motion Six (VM6), Sunny Boy, Gazza, Lady May and Dungeon Family. He also made special appearance on a handful of Namibian compilation CDs.

Michael G has performed at various corporate, public and private functions and produced a television jingle signature for One Africa Television, which is still playing. “Although he has been off the scene for over six years now, he never went off it, as he kept busy with full time commitment like his job, being a family man and husband,” says Nambundunga.  Apart from performing in church at times, Michael G had his first live performance early this year in Ongwendiva, which was a success. He also had a One Man Show at Boiler Room, Hilton Hotel and during the launch of the Namibia Career Expo at the Windhoek Country Club and Casino. “Performing inspirational songs in churches makes him a man of substance. His main focus is on making good live music that can appeal to a mature audience and captivate the minds of ordinary people,” says Nambundunga.
