WINDHOEK – This weekend, being a long weekend due to Heroes Day to be celebrated on Monday August 26, fewer than normal entries have been received for the 3rd edition of the annual Namibia Breweries Individual Stableford Competition, that will see golfers tee off at the Windhoek Golf and Country Club starting tomorrow.
Stableford points accumulated over the four rounds will earn the competitor with the most points a year’s supply of Namibia’s favourite. The best ten golfers in line to walk away with the grand prize are G Vink (71), XL Zhang (70), N Henckert (69), J van Wyk (68), J Absai and S van der Merwe (66), K Howard, P Iifo and J Villet (65) with R Dodds on 64 points rounding off the top 10.
