The NDTC Futsal League action continues this weekend, with several exciting matches scheduled for Saturday at the Windhoek Showgrounds.
A total of seven games are on the cards, headlined by a clash between a struggling Flying V side and INEOS at 14h00.
Flying V, who sits at the bottom of the log with just four points, have endured a brutal campaign, winning only one match, while suffering 24 defeats. They will be desperate to turn their fortunes around against an INEOS side currently ninth and looking to extend their impressive league run.
According to Futsal Namibia marketing manager Greyano Rusberg, the Flying V versus INEOS encounter promises to be one of the most intriguing ties of the weekend.
“We urge fans to come in numbers. There are great games lined up, and the INEOS fixture will definitely be one of the matches to watch. It will open the day’s action,” said Rusberg.
He added that the league has reached a crucial stage where every point counts.
“The competition is entering one of its toughest phases. Every team is now ready to give their all and fight for maximum points,” he said.
Other fixtures on Saturday will see Demia take on Boston Madrid at 15h00, followed by The Maverick versus WIAS at 16h00.
Patriots, who currently sit fifth with 50 points, will face Quality FC in a high-stakes showdown expected to deliver fireworks. Later in the evening, JAC will lock horns with Chile FC at 18h00, before the day wraps up with an exciting clash between X-MEN and Ragazzi FC.
