NFA announces Namibia Premier League kick-off date

NFA announces Namibia Premier League kick-off date

The Namibia Football Association (NFA) yesterday announced that the Namibia Premier League will kick off in the first week of September. In a memo outlining the pre-season activities planned for the 2024/2025 year, the association detailed several key events and meetings.

The NFA stated that there will be a meeting for all clubs on 28 July to discuss the draft of the club licensing regulations. These regulations will take effect from this season, as mentioned in the letter. Additionally, clubs were reminded about the club licensing workshop, which will be held online from 29 July to 30 July.

“The workshop is crucial for clubs to understand the process of online applications as manual applications will no longer be accepted in the upcoming season and beyond,” stated the memo. Furthermore, each club representative is required to bring their own laptop to the workshop.

In addition, the chairpersons of all the Namibia Premier Football Leagues are invited to a consultative meeting on 3 August. The agenda and venue for this meeting will be communicated in due course.

A consultative meeting with all chairpersons of the Women’s Super League is also set for 10 August, with the agenda and venue to be communicated.
